Right. In the absence of anywhere else to store this stuff, Spinning Around is going to be temporarily given over to the latest, greatest scheme: Ideas of the Year.
It's going to be a compendium (in book form) of the best PR stunts, photo stories, social media campaign-ettes, japes and jollity from the year that was 2012. It'll be good. Seriously.
So the plan is that Spinning Around will be given over a) to telling people more about this grand scheme and b) to celebrating some of the entries as they come in from the various people I hope will be showcasing their finest, brightest ideas.
No fees for entries. No charge for a table of ten at some dinner.
So if you would like to get work in to IotY2012, you'll simply need to download this form, fill it in and spin it back to me with an image (or more than one if you fancy). Deadline is 20 January 2012, although if you can get things in earlier, that would be good.
All the work will then be judged by a crack jury of me (naturally), Mike Mathieson (CEO of Cake Group), Andrew Bloch (founder of frank PR) and some more to be announced. Everyone who enters work will of course be invited to the book's launch.
