Head of Internal Communications

Job description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, independent regulatory body to head up their internal communications team.

Liaising with staff across all levels and functions, this very proactive role will see you translate complex business requirements in a changing environment into effective communications delivery plans. The successful candidate will use information channels - which they will have audited and streamlined – in order to deliver sometimes sensitive messages, with finely developed diplomatic skills. They will also be expected to act as coach and advisor to the leadership team.

The role requires experience of work at very senior levels within the organisation and a keen awareness of politically charged situations. Comprehensive project management experience within a change communications programme is essential.
