VAUXHALL CAR BOOT SALE

A happy Sunday afternoon was spent in Brick Lane at the Vauxhall Art Car Boot Sale.

The event was a huge success, with limited editions from Tracey Emin, Gavin Turk, Vivienne Westwood, Peter Blake and others (many of whom also manned the stalls) at sales from the boots of classic and modern Vauxhalls.

Taking a lifestyle approach to communications is something that is running through mainstream motoring brands at the moment (what with Honda, Mazda et al).

Judging by the attendees, the boot sale is taking the brand into the lives of people who would otherwise probably switch off from it. The folks at We Made This were also there and flickr'ed some pictures of the event.
